Purpose: to review the system’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CLIP) and updates pertaining to the system’s federal programs: IDEA - special education programs; Title I-A – program for disadvantaged students; Title II-A – Teacher and Leadership Effectiveness Program; Title VI-B – Rural Education Achievement Program (REAP); the system’s Equity Plan –Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin; and results of the district’s College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI).

Department Announcements
GADOE Title Programs

Our mission is to provide technical assistance, resources, and program monitoring of local education agencies to ensure that all children have an opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to achieve proficiency on high academic standards.

  • Technical Assistance - Our Title Area Specialists, Grant Program Coordinators, and other Program Specialists, interpret state and federal law and provide guidelines for implementing Title programs, address specific questions and concerns regarding Title programs, and provide information and assistance in implementing various requirements and guidelines.
  • Resources - Our division provides a number of electronic tools and documents to local school systems to ensure effective program implementation. We also provide area meetings and a statewide summer conference for local school systems and school staff to provide professional development.
  • Monitoring - Our division regularly monitors Title programs at the local level to ensure compliance with regulations as well as to assure the delivery being utilized with at-risk populations.
